Yes, for Summer Study Holiday courses. Outside of the summer, we cannot guarantee this, but we make every effort to mix nationalities when possible. Our teachers are experienced in working with closed groups, and English is strictly enforced during lessons.
For every 15 students, one leader or teacher goes free. Please see the specific course pages for pricing information or contact us.
Students enrolled in Summer Study Holiday or Exam Preparation courses will take a test on their first day. For short courses, we ask for your students’ English proficiency level before arrival, or a placement test can be arranged.
Return transfers to and from the arrival/departure point are available at an additional cost. An English Experience staff member will meet your group and accompany you to Norwich via coach or train, where Homestay Hosts families will meet and take the students home.
Students stay with welcoming and experienced host families, giving them the chance to experience British culture, hear different English accents, learn new phrases, and enjoy traditional British dishes.
No. Host families provide 3 meals a day.
We make every effort to accommodate students with allergies. There may be a supplement for this. Please inform us of any special requirements as early as possible.
Up to four students from the same group can stay with a Homestay Hosts family, subject to availability.
Most students use the public bus (bus pass costs approx. £17.50 per week). Our staff and host families will ensure students know where to take the bus.
Students will receive a welcome talk and meet their teachers. During the first class, teachers will prepare students for life in Norwich and introduce them to the course. In the afternoon, students will meet their Activity Leader for a city tour.
