English Camps in your country for ages 7 to 18

Why choose an English Experience Camp?

All children learn quickly when they are having fun in a familiar environment. That’s why English Experience Camps sends teams of native level English teachers and experienced activity leaders to deliver enjoyable language courses in children’s own schools in Italy, Slovenia and a number of other countries. Tailor-made for different age groups, our one- or two-week camps offer a lively mix of language sessions and a wide range of games and activities, all conducted in English. This fully immersive approach gets results. Learning in small classes, students soon start to enjoy the challenge of communicating in another language.

Our teachers and activity leaders all have previous professional experience in their respective roles, so everyone we send into schools is qualified to do an excellent job. You can also rely on us as a company: we have been delivering successful English camps in schools in Italy, Slovenia and a number of other countries since 1999.

Right Language Skills

Our teachers and activity leaders all have previous professional experience in their respective roles, so everyone we send into schools is qualified to do an excellent job. You can also rely on us as a company: we have been delivering successful English camps in schools in Italy, Slovenia and a number of other countries since 1999.

Right Learning Framework

We are proud of the meticulous approach to ‘all through’ language learning that we use on our camps. Our sport, art and drama activities are carefully structured to underline the progress children make in our classroom lessons. Courses are planned and written to a high standard by our Overseas Courses Team, working in conjunction with staff at our UK-based language school. To ensure consistency and standardised levels, we use the Common European Framework of Reference as a basis for our courses.

Right Support

To set up camps, English Experience uses a step-by-step process designed to minimise the amount of work that local coordinators need to do in their school/venue and with their parent community. When the camp is up and running, English Experience’s camp coordinator deals with day-to-day issues and logistics at the school/venue, allowing the local coordinator to relax and remain off-site. Our camp coordinator will have previous experience of teaching on one of our camps, so will be able to anticipate and deal with many problems before they arise.

Right People

Our teachers and activity leaders all enjoy working with children and are passionate about helping them develop their skills and have fun. We interview and do background checks on all of our team members, so English Experience staff will have talked to and be able to vouch for everyone who will be working with your children.

The Best Possible Experience of English

English Experience Camps deliver immersive English language summer camps in schools abroad, mostly in Italy but also in Germany, Slovenia and France. We pride ourselves on making our camps an enjoyable experience for children, and work hard to blend classroom learning with sport, art and drama sessions that allow every student the chance to shine.

English Experience Camps has been running children’s language courses abroad since 1999. We’re a subsidiary of The English Experience, a language school based in the East of England. Established by director Carol Syder in 1994, The English Experience offers teenagers the opportunity to learn English on British Council accredited courses in Norwich, one of the UK’s friendliest and most historic small cities. The team who run English Experience Camps work in conjunction with teaching staff at The English Experience on the development of all materials for provision overseas. This means that, like our UK students, children who learn with us abroad benefit from the combined expertise of an experienced and passionate group of EFL professionals.
