We’ll do most of the work in setting up a camp, but will need someone with a good level of English to act as our local coordinator – either a teacher or a parent. This person will liaise with staff in our UK office, and be responsible for a series of straightforward tasks. These will include inviting parents to a presentation by a member of English Experience Camps staff at your school or venue, collecting pupil registrations, and gathering the names of local families who are interested in being paid to host teachers and activity leaders while the camp is running.
We’ll need enough classrooms and outdoor space in your school or venue to accommodate the number of children booked onto the course. Our local coordinator will need to meet the camp team when they arrive, be on site on the first and last day of the camp, and on the days in between be contactable by phone. There will also need to be someone on site each day of the camp (normally a caretaker or secretary), to offer logistical support if necessary. Day-to-day issues relating to course provision or welfare will be dealt with by our camp coordinator (a senior member of the teaching team).
The Overseas Courses Team at the UK office will be happy to answer your questions about costs, arranging host accommodation, or anything else. Please contact Manager, Samuel Hemingway.

Our children enjoyed every minute of their time spent at the camp that was run by enthusiastic and well-organised teachers.
