What information we collect


A. Homestay information:

Name, address, date of birth, gender, nationality, religion, marital status.

We require full information of the homestay hosts and all persons in their household as well as the full information regarding the home.

B. Student information collected:

Name, address, date of birth, gender, nationality, allergies, next of kin (name and telephone number). We need to be secure in the knowledge that we have full information, including any disabilities concerning the students staying in our organisation.

C. Website contacts:

Information collected is name, email and telephone number. This is required for further contact.

What further information we collect:

  • We collect mobile phone numbers on arrival in our school to ensure good contact is maintained between our clients and ourselves at all times
  • Students and group leaders complete questionnaires regarding their stay. This is to make sure that we note any areas of problems and any ideas for improvement.

How long do we hold your data


Any data from our website shall be retained for no more than 2 years. Data should only be held for as long as we need it. Ensuring that we erase or anonymise data when we no longer need it will reduce the risk that it becomes irrelevant, excessive, inaccurate or out of date.:

Any data from google analytics shall be retained for no more than 2 years for information. We also work with third parties oversea governed by their GDPR rules.

Registering as a student or homestay provider


When applying through an agent, the minimum information we require to register you is full name, date of birth and dietary requirements. Your group leaders will have the remaining information – home address, primary contact including name and phone number in case of emergency.
